  • What is OKIRO?
OKIRO is a brand developed to bring refined, high-quality coffee and tea accessories to the discerning consumer at a fair price point. Our products are created to elevate daily rituals with minimalist, practical and thoughtful designs.

  • Where are your products made?
Our products are manufactured in China by highly vetted suppliers that have all undergone third party audits according to Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) and Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audits (SMETA) frameworks. We take great pride in our partnerships with our manufacturers and choose to only work with manufacturers that have acceptable ratings according to these frameworks and ensuring a fair and safe work environment for the employees.

 

Product Care

  • How do I clean my tumblers and cups?
Our tumblers and cups are dishwasher-safe; however, we recommend handwashing shortly after use to ensure best results.
    • How do I clean my grinder?
    Our grinders are very low maintenance; however, we recommend emptying and brushing out any leftover grinds after each use. We include a brush for this purpose. For a deeper clean we will be uploading a video on how to disassemble and clean your burrs soon.
      • Can I put my tumbler or cup in the microwave?
      No, our tumblers and cups are not microwave safe.

      • Two of the same products look slightly different. Is this a flaw?
      Due to the nature of working with ceramics as well as the hand-dipped glazing process, specifications will vary slightly between units. The individual nature of each of our mugs is part of what makes them so special.  

       

      Orders and Shipping

      • When will my order ship?
      Our goal is to deliver your order as quickly, affordably, and safely as possible. Orders will be processed within 2 business days and then will ship according to the selected shipping speed (3-5 days for ground shipping, 2 days for expedited shipping and 3-4 weeks for shipments to Canada). Please note that during these challenging times, some carriers are experiencing shipping delays but are working to get your orders to you as soon as possible.
       
      • How can I check the status of my shipment?
      Once you place your order, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to check your order status. You will also be notified again when your order ships and provided with a tracking number.
       
      • Can I change my order or shipping information after I process my order?
      If your order has not been shipped, please email us at info@okirocoffee.com with your order number and requested change and we will do our best to accommodate the change. Our customer service is available to accommodate requests from Monday to Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm MST.
       
      • Do you ship internationally?
      Canada is currently the only international destination that we ship to, although we plan to expand to more countries in the near future. For Canada shipments please allow 2-4 weeks for your product to arrive. Cost for Canadian shipping will be a flat $15 economy charge, expedited is not available at this time. Orders to Canada over $125 qualify for free economy shipping. 

      Returns

      • What is your return policy?
      OKIRO stands behind the quality of all our products and hope that you are satisfied with your purchase. We are happy to accept returns on any damaged or defective items in their original, unused condition within 30 days of receipt.
        To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it in and in its original packaging. You’ll also need your receipt and order number.
          To start a return, contact us at info@okirocoffee.com with your order number and a detailed description of the issue. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
